Girls Night Out...VEGAS STYLE!!!

Mom took all her girls to St. George & Las Vegas for 4 days. Sooooo much fun! Between shopping, eating, shows, and just staying up late laughing our guts out I don't know what part was the most fun. But the one thing I can say for sure is that I have the most amazing mom & sisters that anyone could have. I had so much fun with these ladies and had some bonding experiences and created some memories I will never forget. I love you all so much and am greatful for each one of you and your examples. You're the best!

Donny & Marie Show

I'm obviously not the #1 Donny & Marie fan. I never saw the show growing up but did listen to some of their music. Especially my personal favorite, "Soldier of Love" (dedicated to you Meg). But to my surprise, these two really put on a great show.

Thanks Mom. You're the greatest and we all needed this weekend get away. Couldn't and wouldn't have happened without you. You are the greatest example to me and I hope I can be even half the mom to my children that you are to yours. We are all so blessed to have you as our Mom & best friend and I love you so much.

Bridal Veil Falls

We took a little family hike up to Bridal Veil Falls. As always is was super beautiful and the kids absolutely loved it. The hike is fairly easy but when both your kids decide they want to be carried it became a little more difficult. :-) Time for Jess & I to get in shape. But anyone needing a quick, fun, close family activity, we suggest this. Especially now with all the fall leaf changes. Breath taking!

Disneyland 2009

Jess & I took Jessica to Disneyland the week after Labor Day! It's the perfect time. Great weather and best of all...NO LINES!!! It was awesome! We had a great time and even convinced Uncle Shaun to come for a day. Jessi was so excited to see him. We wished Jess' sister Kathy & her husband Tommy could have come, but we weren't able to work it out. Maybe next time. :-) It was so fund being with Jessica though and she had the time of her life.

First Day of Pre-School

Jessi loves Mrs. Mulliner and going to school! Her favorite thing is "Show & Tell" and doing her homework. We just hope that continues to be her favorite for the rest of her life. Ha-we won't count on it! :-)

Our Soccor Star

We enrolled Jessi on her first sports team. We tried ballet last winter but she had way too many ants in her pants for such a diciplined dance. On her first game she scored 6 of the 8 goals so it seems to be a better fit so far. Yay!
So proud of herself!

Spanish Fork Fair & Demolition Derby

We went to the fair grounds with Aunt Julie. She entered a doll dress she had made and placed 1st! We're so proud of her and had to celebrate. Jessi's cousins Rebekah & Hannah joined us. After a super dinner provided by Julie we went to the Demolition Derby. We've never been and I must say it was the craziest thing I've ever seen. But so much fun. Can't wait to go next year! Thanks Julie for always makin' everything so much fun. We love ya tons!!!

Good Little Buddies!

Jessica and Kaleb are two little peas in a pod. They absolutely love eachother and play so cute together. Kaleb idolizes his big sister and tries to everything she does. And Jessica is so good to let him tag along with all that she does. Jess & I are so blessed to have such two little sweethearts. We love you both so much!!!

We Miss Jordan!!!

Jordan is our babysitter we've had come over the last two summers. But we're always so sad when she has to go back to school. In July she went to Costa Rica on a humanitian project

to work in the orphanages. She brought home Jessi these shoes and she has to wear

them every day. She calls them her "Costa Rica Shoes".

Thanks for everything Jordan...We really do miss you and hope school is going great!!!

St. George with the Clark's

We made a trip with the Clark Family to sunny St. George. And yes it was sunny in August. But we had a great time. You can never get too much of relaxing around the pool. Mercedes Ride

Megan took the kids for their favorite ride around the circle in Pappy's old classic car.

They love to pretend they are in a parade and wave at everyone as they drive by.

BBQ at the Owen's Cabin- August 2009

Steve & Jane and their family invited us Murphy's up to their cabin for the first annual Owen/Murphy Family Day at the Cabin. It was soooo beautiful. I don't know if the kids had more fun on the rope swing, in pixyland getting prizes, boating on the lake, playing horse shoes, petting horses, singing around the campfire, or eating all the yummy food. The Owen's have worked so hard and have made this place so amazing. Thanks Steve & Jane for such a wonderful afternoon and evening. We can't wait to go back. Freedom Festival Soccor Tourney

Jess & his buddies from high school played in the Freedom Festival Soccor Tournament this year. He had a great time playing together with them, but they all had a reality check of feeling old and out of shape! Good times though.Win or Lose...she's always by her Daddy's side.
